Atlanta, GA- The Maroon Tigers of Morehouse College came out swinging against their rivals Clark Atlanta Panthers in the battle of the AUC and didn't look back as they cruise to a 9-7 win.

In the top of the first, the Tigers went on a four-run inning led by David Coleman fly ball down past the second baseman bringing in three scores. In the bottom of the second, the Panthers made a comeback cutting the lead to two runs. At the top of the eighth, the Maroon Tigers strike again scoring twice led by Jaylen Greene and Elijah Pickney, giving the Maroon Tigers an 8-2 lead over the Panthers. This secured the Tigers a lead the Panthers couldn't recover from, leading the Tigers to (1-1) record on the year.

For Clark Atlanta, Justice Page would have 3 RBI's, Michael Sims with 2 RBI's, Menra Mapfumo had 1 RBI, and Daniel Gay with 1 RBI.

David Coleman had 3 RBI's, Elijah Pickey had 2 RBI's, Timothy Whiteman, Jaylen Greene, Jaiden Proper all had 1 RBI.  

The Maroon Tigers play their rivals Clark Atlanta Panthers again, tomorrow, Sunday February 5th at 1 P.M.
