Macon, GA- Morehouse Cross Country takes home the 2023 SIAC Cross Country Championship at Middle Georgia State University.

Willie Hill has led his cross country team to another championship making this the 26
th championship title.
"It is wonderful to deal with and work with such great men." said head coach Willie Hill. "These young men truly represented Morehouse in the way they needed too. They gave it their all and got the victory but not only for themselves but for Morehouse. To have four guys place in the top 10 and all seven to finish in the top 14 is truly the greatest accomplishment."
In the 8k team results, the Maroon Tigers came in 1
st with a time of 2:20:55 and an average time of 28:11 and with a score of 24. Benedict would come in 2
nd with a score of 85 and timed at 2:33:16.
The Maroon Tigers next meet is on Saturday, Nov 4
th, as they get ready to participate in the NCAA South Regional Championship in Montevallo, AL.
