Washington, D.C., The Maroon Tigers traveled to Washington, D.C., to face the Howard University Bison at Burr Gymnasium. The game was a sight to see as the nationally televised matchup between two prestigious schools. In a packed, sold-out crowd at Burr Gymnasium.
The Maroon Tigers came to play in the opening minutes of the first half. Morehouse Forward
Kerry Richardson accounted for the first eight points for the Maroon Tigers. Up until the 10-minute mark of the first half, the game was a back-and-forth affair between the two until around the 10-minute mark, where the Bison began to pull away, leading by 17 points at the half. In the second half, the Maroon Tigers fought bravely to the end as the Bison defeated the Maroon Tigers 85-69.
The Bison's leading scorer was sophomore guard Elijah Hawkins who led his team with 15 points and six assists.

Joemel McNair led all scorers with 21 points on the night.
