Atlanta, GA- Morehouse played their second home game losing 42-0 against the University of West Georgia at B.T. Harvey Stadium on Saturday evening.
In the Second half, the Wolves go on a tear, scoring four touchdowns in the third quarter and one more in the fourth quarter. West Georgia quarterback Harrison Frost would throw for 151 yards on the day, running back Zion Custis rushing for 88 yards. Maroon Tiger running back Earnest Davis ran for 61 yards in the game.
The Maroon Tigers will head to New York and face Howard University in the HBCU NYC Classic on September 17 at MetLife Stadium and kickoff starts at 3 pm. This will be the 38th matchup between the two schools since 1923. The last time Morehouse and Howard played was at RFK Stadium in 2014.
