Albany, GA- The Maroon Tigers playoff game number 4 came to an end with a (6-10) loss to Albany State on Saturday evening at the ASU West Campus.
The Maroon Tigers and the Golden Rams would both go two whole innings without scoring a single run, it wasn't until the top of the 3rd inning when Albany State scored 2 runs and 2 more runs in the 4th inning.
Morehouse had a slow start but eventually scored a run in the bottom of the 4th inning with a reaching error by Derrick Odom that led to senior Amyr Smith with a scored run.
The bottom of the 6th, Morehouse would score another run with a balk by Amyr Smith.
Those would be the only two innings the Maroon Tigers would get any runs until the bottom of the 4th when they would score 4 runs. The first two runs scored was by senior Kwasi Irving who singled through the right side getting 2 RBI and getting Ryan Williams and Casey Coates across the home plate. Senior Jason Fleming who homers to the left field getting 2 RBI and Irving scored as well.
