ATLANTA, GA – The Maroon Tigers took the first win and dropped the second game of a doubleheader to the Lane College Dragons, 6-7, before avenging the loss in the second game, 11-3

Morehouse would come back on senior day ready for another win against Lane.  Morehouse's hot hitting gave the Maroon Tigers a significant advantage throughout the game. Senior Derrick Odom hit a two-run shot in the third inning for an early 3-1 lead. In the fifth, freshman Derrick Avent hit a triple that drove in runs by Jaiden Proper and Kyle Dixon. The eighth inning saw the Maroon Tigers add to their 8-3 lead on Jason Fleming's double, which drove in Grayson and senior Ryan Williams. Fleming would also go on to score, which resulted in the 11-3 final.

Odom led the Maroon Tigers in game two with three hits. He and Avent each had three RBIs.

The Maroon Tigers will end their 2022 season on April 28th, as they travel to Lemoyne-Owens College which will be a doubleheader, tip off is at 12pm.
