Rock Hill, SC- To kick off the 2022 SIAC Men's Volleyball Championship, Morehouse faced off against Fort Valley State. Morehouse would start out the championship ready for a win against Fort Valley but ultimately the Wildcats would take the win in all 3 sets.
Morehouse, now 0-18 on the season, drops to the loser's bracket and will face Benedict at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the Rock Hill Sports and Event Center.

Jalen Campbell accomplished a total of 11 kills as Fort Valley won, 25-12, 25-11. 25-10. The Wildcats hit .377, while Morehouse hit -.076.

Kristopher Woods would lead Morehouse with 6 kills and 6 digs.
Bryce Clemons would follow behind with 2 kills and
Jalen Campbell would finish with 1 kill along with 6 assists, and 5 digs.
The winner of the Benedict-Morehouse match will advance to take on the winner of the other 1 p.m. loser bracket game between Kentucky State and Fort Valley State. The winner of that match will advance to Thursday's first match at 10 a.m. against the loser between Central State and Edward Waters. The championship game is set for 1 p.m. Thursday, with a second championship game, if necessary, at 4 p.m.
