Atlanta, GA- Morehouse drops doubleheader against the Panthers during this weekend's 3-game series.

Game 1: Morehouse took a heartbreaking lost against CAU only losing by 2 runs, final score 9-11. The Maroon Tigers would start out the game getting the first run accomplished by Jaylyn Hawkins that would be the only run in the first inning. In top of the second inning, Morehouse would accomplish three runs after the second inning they would go two full innings without scoring until the top of the 5^th when Juilyen Mohammed would hit a single line drive to the left field allowing Kyle Dixon to score another run for Morehouse making the score 5-10.

After a small line-up change in the 7^th inning, Morehouse would start to make a come back but scoring three runs getting them up to 9 just one run behind CAU but a home run by Daniel Gay would close out the game.

Jaylyn Hawkins would lead Morehouse with 3 RBIs, Derrick Odom and Juilyen Mohammed would finish with 1 RBIs.

Game 2: Clark Atlanta would start out the second game hungry for another win against Morehouse. The Panthers would achieve four runs in the 1^st inning. Morehouse would not score any points until the top of the 2^nd inning when David Coleman would hit a double line drive to the right field getting Jaiden Proper to score the first run of the game.

The 3^rd inning, CAU would score three more runs while we went the whole inning with no runs. The fourth inning, Morehouse would get one more run and in the fifth inning when both teams would accomplish two runs, but CAU would have the lead with a score of 12-4. In the final inning Morehouse would score one more point by senior Miles Grayson.

Jaiden Proper, David Coleman, and Jackson Savoy would all have 1 RBIs.

Morehouse will be back tomorrow in action on Saturday, April 16, against CAU game time at 2pm.
