Chattanooga, TN- This afternoon our Maroon Tigers took game one in the Scenic City Diamond Classic against Kentucky State University. The one day event was held in Chattanooga and the three game series will finish tomorrow back in Frankfort, KY.

Kentucky State started the game with the first run while Morehouse did not score until the second inning with one run as well which was by Daylun Powe-Salters. Kentucky scored a total of three runs in the third and fourth inning and did not score again until the ninth inning. Morehouse was only able to accomplish one run until the ninth inning when they scored six runs.   

To lead the Maroon Tigers were Kyle Dixon and Jaylen Greene who both had 2 runs, Justina Harris, Derrick Odom, Daylun Powe-Salters, Saivion Mohammed, Jackson Savoy, and Amyr Smith would all finish with 1 as well.

Baseball will be back in action tomorrow in a double header against Kentucky State first game starts at 12 and 3.
