Myrtle Beach, SC- Morehouse's track and field team had solid showings during the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge.
In the 800-meter dash, the Maroon Tigers placed two athletes in the top five. Christian Pearson came in second place with a time of 2:05.18 To follow behind him was Taylor Battle with a time of 2:05.77.
In the 4x800 meter relay, which included Jordan Ellul, Johndell Cumberbatch, Darius Ragland, and Taylor Battle, had a stellar performance as they ran 8:14.32 to place in the top five.
The Maroon Tigers will be back in action this Friday, Mar.18, as they travel to Emory University.
