Morehouse Falls Short Against Shorter University

Atlanta, GA- Morehouse falls to Shorter 9-3 in their opening game. After the second inning, where both teams were tied one to one, Shorter would score five unanswered runs in the third and fourth inning. Morehouse would score their subsequent two runs in the fifth and sixth inning of the game.
 
Center fielder J. Proper would lead the Maroon Tigers with three at-bats, one run, two rbi's, and zero strikeouts in three at-bats for the day. Shorters C. Mason would lead all players with two runs, including a home run and three rbi's in four at-bats.
 
The Maroon Tigers next game is this upcoming weekend as they get ready to participate in the Peachtree City Classic. Their first game will be Friday (Feb 11) against Cedarville University at 11am.
