Atlanta, GA- This weekend our Men's Baseball team hosted their 2022 baseball home opener against Tuskegee University. The Maroon Tigers gets their first win against Tuskegee 8-4.

In this SIAC matchup, Right Fielder Alan Brown tripled on a line drive hit, allowing Juilyen Mohammed to score the first run for the Maroon Tigers. In the second inning, Mohammed would hit a sacrifice fly to Tuskegee left Fielder Jameson Eichelberger, Center Fielder Amyr Smith would get to home plate to give Morehouse a 4-0 lead.

Tuskegee would score their first run in the fifth inning, scoring on an error by Left Fielder Jaiden Proper. The Golden Tigers would score three more times in innings six and eight. Casey Coates and Kwasi Irving would have two runs and three walks each.

Tuskegee Center Fielder Joshua Lewis would have two runs in five at-bats on the afternoon.

The Maroon Tigers have a rematch against the Golden Tigers this Sunday at Gresham Park at 12 and 3pm.
