Atlanta, GA- Morehouse gets the win against Lane College for the last home game of the 2021 season, 69-52.

How It Happened:

• Morehouse started out the game with a fast-paced lead for majority of the first half and had the largest lead of 26 points in the second half.
• Lane College shooting percentage from the field goal was 32.2%
• Morehouse had an 87.5% for free throws.

Key Stats:

• Morehouse was 14-16 at the free throw line.
• The Maroon Tigers forced 13 Dragon turnovers.
• Lane was 10-17 at the free throw line.
• Xavier Brewer led the Maroon Tigers with a career high of 20 points, and 5 rebounds.
• Noah Morgan helped Morehouse by adding 17 points and 9 rebounds to the score.  
• Kerry Richardson added 11 points, and 6 rebounds. 
• Morehouse improves to 5-6, while Lane drops to 6-5 on the season.

 
Morehouse next game will be a road game as they take on University of West Georgia. The game will take place on Monday, Dec 20 tip off at 4pm.
