Tuskegee, AL- Morehouse suffers a tough loss against Tuskegee this afternoon, 76-73.
For most of the first half of the game Tuskegee kept the lead until 6:44 when
Andrew Stewart hit a jumper tying up the game at 15-15. For the rest of the game Tuskegee would not let Morehouse take the lead as the score was back and forth. As the first half came to an end Tuskegee led by just three points. Tuskegee led scorer was Davis Deveraux with 20 points.
As the second half started Morehouse came out with a lot more fire and energy. Morehouse played incredible defensive and started making consistent shots and eventually took the lead until the last two minutes of the game when Tuskegee decided to make a came back making the score 71-68. The Maroon Tigers kept fighting to get the win back Tuskegee was able to close out the game.
Xavier Brewer led Morehouse this afternoon with 15 points, and 4 rebounds. Following behind Brewer was Noah Morgan who chipped in 13 points, 4 rebounds, 4 steals, and 4 assists for his first game of the season.
The Maroon Tigers play again on Monday, Dec 13, against Spring Hill tip-off is at 8pm.
