Opening Tip: Morehouse looks to regain their momentum after losing to the Savannah State Tigers 73-66 on Saturday. With this loss, the Maroon Tigers record fall to 10-10 on the season. With a second win this season against Clark Atlanta in L.S. Epps Gymnasium on Saturday, February 15th at 2.P.M., the Maroon Tigers will have beaten the Panthers in two straight games.

Scouting MHC: The Maroon Tigers enter Saturday's game 10-10, 7-6 SIAC after a close loss against Savannah State that saw senior center/forward Kairo Whitfield (Atlanta, GA) lead the team with 19 points, seven rebounds, one steal and one block. Senior guard Michael Olmert (Atlanta, GA) filled up the stat sheet with 18 points, six rebounds, six assists and one steal. Senior forward Keith Heard (Atlanta, GA) contributed with eight points on 4-9 shooting from the field.

Scouting CAU: The Panthers have been on a roll lately, going 3-0 in their last three games. In their last game, the Panthers beat the Benedict College Tigers 70-65. Senior guard Tyler Singleton (Dallas, Tx) led CAU with 19 points on 6-13 from the field and 2-7 from three-point range. Senior forward Romaine Thomas (Bronx, NY) had a double-double, scoring 16 points and snagging 10 rebounds. Freshman center/forward Maximo Guillermo (Santo Domingo, D.R.) contributed with eight points, six rebounds and one steal.

Three Times the Charm: The Maroon Tigers have beaten the Panthers in their last two matches against each other. A win on Saturday would give the Maroon Tigers their first three-game winning streak against the Panthers since the January 2015 to January 2016 time span.

SIAC East With Six Left: The Maroon Tigers are still three games out of the top spot in the SIAC Eastern division. They currently sit behind Albany State and Clark Atlanta in third place with six games left in the season. Morehouse looks to avenge an early season loss to ASU on February 25th in Albany, GA.

Up Next: The Maroon Tigers return to Forbes Arena on Monday, February 17th to take on Fort Valley State University. Tip-off is set for 7.P.M.
