Michael Olmert (Atlanta, GA) score a game-high 19 points while dishing out four assists and snagging two steals. Redshirt sophomore guard
Chris Brown (Atlanta, GA) scored 14 points, shooting 5-8 from the field while also grabbing four rebounds. Senior forward
Keith Heard (Atlanta, GA) filled the stat sheet with 13 points, five rebounds, two blocks and two assists.
Scouting MC: The Golden Bears have gotten off to a great start this season, jumping out to an overall 7-2 record and winning four of their last five games. Miles will come into Saturday's game with a close 69-64 loss to Clark Atlanta on Thursday. Sophomore forward Nathan Ferguson (Silver Springs, MD) led the Golden Bears with 18 points, five rebounds, one block and one steal. Junior guard Jelani Watson-Gayle (London, England) scored 15 points while also snagging four steals and two rebounds. Junior guard Avery Brown (Clermont, FL) scored 14 points on 4-11 shooting while also grabbing four rebounds.
Even Spilit in 12: The Maroon Tigers have gone 6-6 in their last 12 matches against the Golden Bears. The Maroon Tigers last played the Golden Bears on November 26
th, 2018 and lost 81-63.
Second Three-game Streak: With a win on Saturday, the Maroon Tigers will have their second three-game winning streak of the season. The team's last three-game winning streak ended on Sunday, December 8
th, after a 64-60 loss to Georgia College.
