Opening Tip: The Maroon Tigers look to go on a winning streak after beating Tuskegee 74-69 on Saturday, November 30th, in their SIAC opener. With Saturday's win, the Maroon Tigers have evened their record at 3-3, their first time back at .500 since November 20th.  With a win against the Badgers of Spring Hill College in Atlanta, Georgia at Morehouse College's Forbes Arena on Monday, December 2nd, the Maroon Tigers have a chance to bring their record above .500 for the second time this season.

Scouting MH: Morehouse enters Mondays game 3-3 after Saturday's win against Tuskegee University that saw sophomore forward Xavier Brewer (Atlanta, GA) become the game's second leading scorer with 18 points, shooting 2-7 from three-point range and 7-15 from the floor while also snagging eight rebounds. Sophomore guard Devin Russell (Center Point, AL) contributed 14 points and four rebounds, shooting 2-3 from three-point range and shooting 4-6 from the field. Forward/center Kairo Whitfield (Atlanta, GA) scored 13 points while shooting a perfect 4-4 from the field and grabbing 8 boards.

Scouting SHC: The Badgers have got off to a rocky start this season, losing three of their first four games while also dropping their last four competitions, spiraling to a 1-6 record. Spring Hill lost their last game in blowout fashion to Bellarmine University 98-42 on Wednesday, November 27th. Sophomore point guard Jordan Mcllwain (Atlanta, GA) lead the Badgers with 11 points in 21 minutes of action, while also grabbing three rebounds and tallying three assists. Redshirt senior guard Dwight Harris (Americus, GA) scored seven points and tied a game high in rebounds with six, while also contributing defensively with two steals. Fifth year guard Pat McNamara (Arlington Heights, Ill.) contributed with six points and two assists, while shooting 2-6 from three-point range.

Dominance is a Trend: In their last five matches vs. Spring Hill College, Morehouse is 4-1. Three out of the four games that Morehouse has won have been decided by at least 12 points. Morehouse last played the Badgers in Forbes during the 2018-2019 season, where the Maroon Tigers won 72-60.

69 or Fewer: In all three of Morehouse's wins this season, the defense has allowed 69 points or less to their opponents. In two of their three losses, the Maroon Tigers have allowed over 69 points. Based on this trend, the Maroon Tigers have a better chance of winning if they can hold the badgers to under 69 points.

Up Next: The Maroon Tigers return to action on Saturday, December 7th as they take on St. Augustine's University as part of the Arthur J. McAfee Classic in Atlanta, Georgia at Forbes Arena Tip-off is set for 2.P.M.
