ATLANTA, Ga. - The #11 ranked Morehouse College basketball team had their lowest scoring output of the year as they fell to AUC rival Clark Atlanta, 68-60, Saturday evening at Epps Gymnasium in Atlanta, Ga.
The Panthers controlled the pace for most of the first have and went into the locker rooms with a 28-24 halftime advantage.
The second-half saw much of the same as CAU turned up their defensive intensity forcing 16 MHC turnovers on their way to the eight point victory and AUC bragging rights until the teams meet again on Saturday, Feb. 9th at Forbes Arena on Morehouse's campus.
Turning Point
After Morehouse came back and tied the game at 40-40 on the floater by
Keith Heard (Atlanta, GA) with 11:16 remaining in the ball game, Clark Atlanta went on a 9-1 run in the next four plus minutes to take a 49-41 lead, putting the game out of reach.

Senior forward
Omar Alston (Waldorf, MD) had a double-double with a game-high 14 rebounds, 11 points and two blocks while Junior guard
Michael Olmert (Atlanta, GA) had a team-high 15 points and four assist. Senior forward
James Walker (Stone Mountain, GA) chipped in with nine points and six rebounds in the loss.
Shelvick Henry had a game-high 27 points for Clark Atlanta while Jalen MItchell finished with 14 points and two rebounds in the win.
