April 19, 2018 -- ATLANTA -- Five Maroon Tigers topped the list of All-SIAC track and field performers, as announced today by conference officials.
Collins Kiplimo and Dedrick Vanover were named to the All-SIAC team in two events. Dobbin Bookman, John Burns and Montavius Coleman were named for one event.
The Maroon Tigers will put their all their speed and power on the line, in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Track and Field Championships, Friday through Sunday, in Albany, GA.
Most events will be held at the Hugh Mills Stadium, in Albany.

SIAC Announces 2018 SIAC Track and Field All-Conference Honors
ATLANTA (April 19, 2018) – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) has announced the 2018 Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field All-Conference Team, released Thursday. The all-conference teams are comprised of student-athletes who were selected based on their athletic performance.
On the men's side, Morehouse clinched five spots in this years' all-conference first team as Dedrick Vanover and Collins Kiplimo secured two spots in two events respectively. Albany State, Benedict, and Central State each clinched four spots as Claflin and Spring Hill rounded out the first team selections with one each.
On the women's side, Benedict swept the all-conference first team as they had six representatives. Clark Atlanta followed closely behind with four selections. Albany State and Spring Hill tied with three selections respectively as Paine rounded out the selections with one.
The 2018 SIAC Track & Field Championship is set to take place April 20-22 at Hugh Mills Stadium and on the campus of Albany State University in Albany, Ga. For more information, CLICK HERE.
