Maroon Tigers Quell Dragons' Fire

Box Score January 8, 2015 – JACKSON, TN – Tyrone Brown had a monster game and lifted Morehouse to a three-game winning streak, with a 66-58 win over the Lane College Dragons.
 
Brown sank 8 of 11 shots for a team high 20 points. He also hauled in a game-high 14 rebounds, for his third double-double of the season.
 
Brown's jumper with a minute left in the first half game Morehouse the lead for good. The Maroon Tigers took a 35-30 lead into the locker room and maintained the advantage the rest of the way.  
 
Tyrius Walker also had a big game, contributing 15 points, eight rebounds, four steals and two blocks.
 
Austin Anderson chipped in nine points and Javarius Gay and Michael Hall each added six points.   
 
Morehouse improved to 5-5 (3-0 SIAC). Lane fell to 3-6 (2-1 SIAC).
 
Donald Stewart led the Dragons with 21 points, seven rebounds, five steals and four assists. Terrance Bridgeman added 18 points.
 
The Maroon Tigers will move south to Birmingham and take on the Miles College Golden Bears, Saturday, at 3:30 p.m.
