Box Score January 5, 2015 – ATLANTA – The Maroon Tigers held the Spring Hill College Badgers to a Morehouse record-low of eight first-half points and cruised to a second conference win, 59-38.
The Tigers claim their first back-to-back wins of the season and pushes their record to 4-5 (2-0 SIAC).
Brian Thomas has his best game of the season, hitting 5 of 8 shots, including 4 of 7 from the three-point line. He finished with a game-high 16 points, to go with two rebounds and two steals.
Tyrone Brown led all rebounders with 12 boards.
Spring Hill, playing in Division II for the first time, drops to 1-10 (0-2 SIAC).
James Clarke led the Badgers, with 10 points.
Morehouse will hit the road Thursday, for a three-game road trip against Lane, Miles and LeMoyne colleges and will return home January 15, to face Stillman, at 7:30 p.m.
