Morehouse Loses Nailbiter to Clark Atlanta

Box Score February 1, 2014 – ATLANTA – In the biggest game and on the biggest stage of the year, the Maroon Tigers came up short against the Clark Atlanta Panthers, 65-62.

The Maroon Tigers jumped out to a 38-31 halftime lead and faded in the second half, where they were out-scored 34-24.

CAU's win avenges two losses to Morehouse last season. The next meeting of the cross-campus rivals is scheduled for February 22.

Darrius Williams hit 13 of 21 shots, for a game high 29 points, to go with nine rebounds.

Austin Anderson sank 2 of 12 shots and 8 of 9 free throws, for 13 points.

D'Anthony Relaford returned to the Morehouse lineup for the first time in 10 games. Relaford scored seven points and grabbed nine rebounds.
