November 15, 2014 – CARROLLTON, GA – Morehouse never recovered from an early double-digit deficit and lost 101-78 to the West Georgia Wolves, on Day 2 of the Gulf South/SIAC Challenge.

Turnovers and missed shots plunged Morehouse into a 20-8 hole in the first six minutes and that was a close as the Tigers would get.

Nothing like the low-scoring buzzer beater that the Maroon Tigers lost Friday, this was a shootout. The Maroon Tigers shot a respectable 38 percent, but the Wolves shot a whopping 56 percent from the field and 81 percent from the free-throw line.

The Wolves out-rebounded the Tigers 40-35 and turned the ball over one fewer time than Morehouse's dozen.

Tyrone Brown came within a rebound of his second double-double in two days. Brown sank 8 of 15 shots, for a team-high 18 points, and hauled in a game-high nine rebounds.

Michael Scott, who saw no action in Friday's 49-48 loss to Lee University, chipped in 15 points, off the bench. Scott connected on 5 of 9 shots, including 5 of 8 three-pointers, and added five rebounds and two assists.

Two other Tigers recorded double figures. Brandon Glover scored 12 points and Robert Askew contributed 10 points and seven rebounds.

The Tigers return to action Friday, when they host Fisk, at Forbes Arena, at 7:30 p.m.
