February 24, 2011 – ATLANTA – The Maroon Tigers outscored the Lane College Dragons, 14-9, in overtime and won 76-71.
It was the second victory over Lane in less than a week. The Maroon Tigers defeated the Dragons, 87-74, in Jackson, TN, Friday.
#Daniyal Faquir# (24 points) and #Roderick Williams# (11 points) led the Maroon Tigers in scoring.
Morehouse will play its final regular season home game, against the Kentucky State Thorobreds, Saturday, at 3 p.m. The game will be Senior Day, a day to honor the Morehouse seniors who will be playing in their final home game at Forbes Arena.
