Coach Richard Moncrief, a proud native of Montgomery, Alabama, brings over 25 years of experience as a student-athlete, coach, and passionate football leader. A 1993 graduate of Clemson University, Moncrief was a key contributor to the Tigers’ 1991 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Championship team. As a student-athlete, he competed in four bowl games and earned MVP honors in the Coca-Cola Bowl held in Tokyo, Japan. He was also recognized as a Texaco/Havoline Scholar Athlete during the 1993 Peach Bowl.

Moncrief’s coaching journey includes leadership roles as both a head coach and athletic director at the high school level, as well as serving as a position coach and offensive coordinator in collegiate football. Currently, he serves as the Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach at Morehouse College, where he mentors student-athletes and drives the development of a dynamic offense.

Coach Moncrief is a devoted husband to Carla Whitlock and a proud father to three children: Kara, Kayla, and Joey.
