Dr. Odell Anderson Jr

Dr. Odell Anderson Jr. is a physical therapist with certifications in the following: manual isokinetics, functional movement specialist, performance enhancement specialist, and dry needling. As a former athlete, Dr. Anderson understands the recovery and rehabilitation process that athletes endure along the journey of their careers.

Dr. Odell Anderson Jr. was born in Dublin, Georgia and attended the University of Georgia for four years where he obtained his B.S.Ed. in Exercise and Sport Science with an emphasis in Psychology. During his time at the University of Georgia, Dr. Anderson became a member of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity, incorporated, coached at Hillmans Middle School, and mentored and tutored at Alps Elementary School. After graduating from the University of Georgia, Dr. Anderson attended Hampton University where he obtained his Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

After graduating Hampton University, Dr. Anderson began studying holistic methods to heal the body. Along this journey he received several certifications as a functional movement specialist and performance enhancement specialist. In addition, Dr. Anderson practices traditional eastern medicine techniques to heal the body such as cupping and dry needling. Currently, Dr. Anderson works for A PLUS PHYSICAL THERAPY to provide rehabilitation to professional, collegiate, and high school athletes.

In his spare time, Dr. Anderson enjoys investing, playing basketball, meditating, reading, traveling, biking, and spending time with family.
